In 1977, the first Blubeckers opened in Shepperton, with the guiding principle of offering ‘Great food, great service and great value’.

The restaurant was just what the locals had been looking for, and it proved popular from the word go, but the team worked hard continually tweaking the finer details to make sure they got everything spot on.

Then as now, the company ethos was all about attention to detail, be it whether the car park had been swept, the loos were immaculate, the roses in the flower beds had been dead-headed, and staff were well groomed.

Nowadays this family of pubs includes historic watermills and windmills, riverside pubs, classic tile-hung Sussex taverns and half-timbered Tudor inns, and in all of them you’ll find the warm welcome that families and friends have enjoyed for over 30 years now.
